The Route

As a North American living in a fast paced North American lifestyle, I feel that we often try to plan life. Planning can be very rewarding and is a necessity in some situations. On the contrary, it can also stress people out to the edge of their limits. Dan, Kyle, and I (Trevor) are planning the things somewhat within our control, such as the bikes and visas, which are a necessity. The route, on the other hand, is an open book. Things will always change and all we can do is adapt to anything that comes our way. The exact route will be determined by the people we meet and suggestions made through talking to locals and other travelers, as well as decisions made on the side of the road with the three of us. Road conditions, weather, and political situations will also be a big part of the final determined route, which can change quickly. As easy going as the three of us are, there are stressful times on the road. Sometimes it just takes someone being confident and making a decision. In the end there are beautiful places everywhere, some of which we will see, some of which we will not.

Here is a screenshot of Europe and the middle east with an orange line running through it. At the end of the trip or along the way we will upload more pictures of where we have actually gone!

Update: As of July 27, 2015 Escort situation

Change of plans folks. We are most likely not going through Iran anymore due to the unfortunate circumstances of needing a tour guide to escort us through the country. Due to the cost involved we will not be going through Iran or following any of the dotted lines in the map.
